Examining the Effects of Work-Life Balance and Work Stress on Employee Performance

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance and work stress on employee performance at PT Lao Chow Indonesia. This study was conducted on employees at PT. Lao Chow Indonesia in Cirebon Regency, which showed that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This indicates that the better the balance between employees' work and personal lives, the higher their performance. Meanwhile, work stress does not have a significant effect on employee performance, indicating that the level of work stress experienced by employees is still within tolerable limits and can be managed well. This study used a quantitative method. The research population used was employees at PT. Lao Chow Indonesia. The probability sampling technique with simple random sampling was used to determine a sample of 110 respondents working at PT. Lao Chow Indonesia. Using Google Forms, data was collected from PT. Lao Chow Indonesia employees aged 20-40 years. The analysis method in this study used SPSS. The results showed a significant influence between work-life balance and work stress. Based on the F-test results, a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) was obtained. Therefore, it can be concluded that the variables of work-life balance (X1) and work stress (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on the employee performance variable (Y).
